The Taimen (Hucho Taimen), is the world's largest salmon. It lives in the rivers of China, Russia and Mongolia, but due to the pollution of local rivers and heavy fishing, it has now become extinct in some parts of its original range. Today we have only in remote parts of Russia and Mongolia, a population of Taimen, which is still considerable. Every year we manage to record catches of around 40 kilograms, and we can guarantee a similar experience for you too.

Our fishing trips will take us to Mongolia, where our destination, the connecting river between Huvsgol Lake and Lake Baikal, will be the location. This place is so remote that the effects of civilization have not yet been reconciled. The nature you see and where you fish is pure, and you find yourself in a fishing paradise, and next to the Taimen you will find other interesting fish species such. B. Lenok, grayling, perch and Amur pike. Our campsites are out of the reach of the wilderness by car, so the last few miles are covered on horses or camels.

For adventurous fishermen we offer belly boat expeditions where we swim and fish in the most interesting and least used sections of the river. Often we go to areas where fishing is not normally done and catch fish that others only dream about. Our customers regularly record record catches of 140 cm or more. These trips offer quality camping gear that can be transported on rafts, camels or horses. The price includes local, car transport, of horses and camels, a 10 days accommodation in a warehouse, meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, fishing with professional guides, fishing tackle, bait and licenses. On request, we offer a professional video of your trip and your fish. To catch our trophy fish, we recommend a minimum expedition length of 10 days. The expedition includes 10 days of fishing and 2 days of travel. Our price is a minimum of 10 days, but customized expeditions for longer periods are possible. The fastest possible transportation to the base camp is by helicopter. If you are interested in this transport, we will gladly provide you with up-to-date information about the price of the flight. Accommodation during the expedition is in two- or four-bed rooms, with a high quality stove in a secluded cabin. A room with hot water and a shared shower are part of the camp. If you are interested in traveling away from base camp, tents and camping gear are available. Our excellent cook takes care of all meals and on request local and international dishes are prepared. If you wish, it is possible to design custom menus before departure.
